Due to further unforeseen repairs that require attention, the closure below has now been extended until the 8th Oct 2022.

Priors Court Road, Chieveley, the closure will be in place during the hours of 21:00 to 06:00 (weekday nights only) between 19th September and 3rd October 2022.
The closure will be between its junction with Road known as Old Street, and its junction with Priors Court.
An alternative route is via B4009 (long La & Shaw Rd), Robin Hoods roundabout, A339 Northbound, A34 Northbound to M4 Junction 13 roundabout, A34 Slip Northbound, A34 off Slip to Graces Lane, and vice versa.
The purpose of this closure is for National Highways to carry out works on the M4 overbridge.- Expansion joint replacement and resurfacing work.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.
Please Note: Blue light access will not be permitted throughout these works.
